We live in a country full of opportunity and blessing, but children in West Africa are not as fortunate.
Yajason is one of these children. As a student in 3rd grade, his parents tried to provide everything they could, but when it was time to graduate to a new school, they simply did not have the means to send him. The situation seemed hopeless and they prepared to withdraw him from school.

The Call of Hope “Goat Project” provides a female goat to children of families who are ostracized and no longer want to attend the Muslim funded schools because of their faith in Christ. Yajason received a goat when he was 8 years old. This changed his life forever! When Yajason’s goat produced offspring, they were sold at market and the proceeds were used for school fees and other educational supplies. This year he is going to enter into the secondary school and already his school shoes, socks, bags and bicycle have been paid for by his goats.
Call of Hope witnesses similar stories in villages throughout West Africa as the Goat Project changes lives. And this simple project is now also opening doors in Muslim communities to share the love of Christ. Once neighboring Muslims saw that the Christian children were receiving goats, they began asking for goats as well! Call of Hope workers immediately saw the opportunity the Lord provided!
