In India, the Covid crisis has wreaked havoc on both the nation as a whole, and Call of Hope’s ministry throughout the country. Call of Hope’s Director in North East India, Brother Gulati, has contracted a very serious variant of the Covid-19 virus.
India is home to the largest pandemic lockdown in the world! The situation has become even more dire as people face starvation, public beating, and the fear of the the Covid virus in the world’s second most populated country.
In Ghana, Nigeria, and Kenya, God gave Call of Hope a culturally appropriate method to connect with the people - Farmer Evangelism. Due to the rich agricultural area that makes up much of the land of these countries, most of the villagers have become farmers to feed and support their families.

Only recently, the head of the military police in Lebanon announced to his soldiers: “The coming days are very dangerous, our needs will increase and the security situation is about to collapse, but you need to be strong in order to keep our security in this beloved country!”
Every American could tell you exactly where they were during the 9/11 terrorist attacks. As the dust settled and the smoke cleared, we mourned as a nation for the lives that were lost, and many drew closer to the comforting arms of Christ. We serve a big God and he can be near to so many people at once.
Despite the many challenges experienced globally, Frontline Workers have seen God bring thousands of new Muslim seekers to hear the saving message of the Gospel, with many putting their faith in Jesus!

Today, most people prefer to talk about the similarities between Christianity and Islam, rather than stir the pot and create more conflict. However, understanding the basic tenants of Islam and how they compare with the truths of the Bible, is very important!
Muslims, regardless of whether they come from Asia or Africa, love to engage in conversations about life, culture, and sometimes even religion.

Imagine walking hours in the scorching sun to draw water from a shrinking lake. It’s the same place cattle, goats, and wild animals drink and bathe. Every day there are thousands of other people jostling for a spot to get water too!
This kind of visit has become a regular for Brother Abdul, and it certainly has not gotten old for him. As one of our leading frontline workers in Nigeria, he frequents different rural villages of northern Nigeria, aiding in the distribution of goats for the Goat Project.
Last August, the unthinkable occurred: the Taliban retook control of Afghanistan. Waves of refugees clamored to escape, many crossing borders into the neighboring countries of Pakistan and India.
“I found it very strange that a Christian radio station could be received here in North Africa. I found it even stranger that this radio station broadcasts in my mother tongue Berber.”
