Medical Aid
God’s Love Healing Body and Spirit through Medicine and More
God's love is all about caring for the whole person, not just the spiritual side. Think about the story of the Good Samaritan that Jesus shared in Luke 10 – it's a perfect example of this. As you know, in many places around the world, decent healthcare is still pricey, and a lot of people just can't afford it. That's where Call of Hope steps in. We're already there endeavoring to make a difference, especially in rural and impoverished regions in some of the countries where we work. Our efforts focus on organizing and funding medical assistance to address these needs.
Providing Medical Aid to Those in Need Around the World
In Northern Nigeria, for example, our co-workers regularly organize missions with local medical teams in rural areas. Villagers who otherwise have no access to medical care receive free medical treatment and medication, while hearing the Gospel News. Call of Hope also runs a day clinic in northern India and Pakistan where those in need can receive treatment. We also make medically necessary treatments possible in other countries. Our team always takes the opportunity to introduce Muslim patients to Jesus Christ, who we believe can heal both the body and the soul.
As the sun beats down on a blisteringly hot day, who in the world would be outside covered head-to-toe in all black? The answer…millions of women in India. You see, India is home to more Muslims than any other country besides Indonesia. In both Indian culture and the religion of Islam, life for women is extremely difficult.
