Because of Easter Hope is Alive in Lebanon
In recent weeks, the situation in Lebanon has taken a heavy turn.
Ongoing violence and unrest have forced hundreds of thousands of families to leave their homes—many with little more than what they could carry. Parents are searching for safety for their children, while familiar places like schools have been turned into shelters. For many, this is not the first time they’ve been displaced.
There is a deep sense of heartbreak across the country. Families are grieving loss, facing uncertainty, and wondering what the future holds for their children.
In the middle of this, our teams are on the ground, responding with the compassion of Christ as needs continue to grow.
Families who have lost so much are receiving food, hot meals, mattresses, blankets, and basic essentials. We are also helping provide temporary shelter and care for those who are especially vulnerable, including families with children and those who are disabled.
But beyond the physical needs, there is also a quiet openness.
In moments of uncertainty, many are asking deeper questions—seeking peace, comfort, and hope. Our teams are coming alongside them with prayer, encouragement, and the message of Christ, reminding them that they are not alone.
Even in the midst of hardship, there are moments where hope begins to break through.
As we move toward Easter, we are reminded that hope is not dependent on circumstances. As Jesus said in John 16:33, “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
In the coming weeks, we’ll be sharing more about how lives are being impacted and how people are encountering hope in the middle of crisis.
If you would like to be part of bringing that hope to families in Lebanon, you can give toward ongoing relief and outreach efforts this Easter season.
Thank you for continuing to stand with those in need.
